Mara Aphrodisios Montgomery was born a bear. I don’t mean she was born bitchy or anything like that. Literally. She was born a bear cub who can shift into human form. She’s a member of an ancient, but dying race of Greek Immortals called Weres. Mara is a werebear. She met and fell in love with a Celtic Shifter, Logan Montgomery, but there are many among the so-called Immortal races who don’t believe Immortals should mate outside of their own pantheon. Hitler has nothing on some of these guys when it comes to fighting for racial purity.

My Thoughts
So Mara had been away from her mate/husband and son for 13 years believing her son had died and her mate would be hurt if she didn't leave. Logan had bought up their son believing that Mara didn't want them, that she had run off with another man. When they finally come back together sparks fly! Without giving too much away (Storyline) Bad things had happened to Mara and she was very untrusting and scared of.. everything really.
The way the story was written you can feel the emotions just rolling off the pair of them! Their love was one that would never be broken. Then add in one child that had been kept from her, it was a fountain of emotions! I just Love Logan and Mara,they are a very strong pairing.
So with all the good, comes bad. love, hate, suspense and ... one serious cliff hanger... Urgh! Hanging on the edge of my seat!
I loved this story! Cant wait to read the next in the series.
